1.Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using GetMyRio ("the Service"), operated by GetMyRio ("we", "us", or "our"), you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2.Description of Service

GetMyRio provides a personalised AI assistant ("Rio") hosted in a private, containerised environment for each subscriber. Rio uses third-party large language models (LLMs) to generate responses, perform research, draft content, and assist with tasks as directed by you.

Rio is an AI tool. It is not a licensed professional and does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Any output from Rio should be independently verified before reliance or action.

3.User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • ◆All instructions, prompts, and data you provide to Rio
  • ◆How you use, interpret, and act upon Rio’s output
  • ◆Ensuring your use of the Service complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights
  • ◆Any content you create, publish, send, or distribute using Rio’s assistance
  • ◆Any consequences, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service

You must not use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose.

4.AI Output Disclaimer

Rio's responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inappropriate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated output.

You acknowledge that AI models can produce errors, biases, hallucinations (fabricated information), and unexpected results.

5.Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your data to third parties and do not use your data to train AI models.

6.Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you input into Rio. Subject to these Terms, you own the output generated by Rio based on your inputs, to the extent permitted by applicable law. AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions.

7.Subscription and Billing

  • ◆The Service is available on a monthly subscription basis at the price listed on our website (currently $49 AUD/month)
  • ◆Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s terms
  • ◆Your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled
  • ◆You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • ◆We do not offer refunds for partial months of service
  • ◆We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice

8.Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

9.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • ◆The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
  • ◆We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • ◆We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • ◆Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim
  • ◆We are not liable for any actions you take based on AI-generated output

10.Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon cancellation, your data is archived (never deleted). You may request a copy of your data by contacting us.

11.Prohibited Uses

You must not use Rio to generate illegal, harmful, or discriminatory content; impersonate others; reverse-engineer the platform; automate interactions that degrade the Service; violate any law; or provide unverified professional advice to third parties.

12.Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GetMyRio from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13.Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website.

14.Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
